NO NONSENSE CATHOLIC

Even though good information about the Catholic faith is more readily available today than ever before, there is still widespread confusion about Catholic belief and practice. Officially, it is the job of the Catholic bishops to clear up such confusion. But in the current reality, lay Catholics need to take it upon themselves to 1) know their faith and 2) be willing to share and defend it.

Saint John Paul II said: “Lay people must be strong enough and sufficiently catechized to testify how the Christian faith constitutes the only valid response to the problems and hopes that life poses to every person and society.”

Today as always, Jesus Christ remains the only answer to the deepest longings of the human heart, mind, and soul. Not one answer among many, not the “preferred” answer, the ONLY answer.

No Nonsense Catholic was founded to give clear and simple witness to the Catholic Faith without obscuring, complicating, or watering down the exclusive claims of Christ and His Church. 

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me… Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice… [A]nd you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 14.6; 18.37; 8.31-32).

And that is no nonsense.
